This is the very last thing I did for my undergrad work at Elmhurst and I’m very proud to have worked with such great people in this ensemble. Enjoy!

Gretsch

A few weeks ago, Fred Gretsch, owner of Gretsch guitars and drums stopped by Elmhurst College for homecoming. While there, he was nice enough to watch the appropriately named ‘Gretsch Guitar Ensemble,’ which I play drums for. There’s a blog post at the Gretsch website. Enjoy!

Again

I’m unbelievably excited for the release of Clark Colborn’s album Again which I was priviledged to play drums on. Many intense hours of recording went into into this album and I’m really proud of the end result! It definitely showcases my prog/metal influences rather than the jazz studies degree I’ve been working on. This album will be available in December and can be pre-ordered at Clark’s website.

Everyday I Have The Blues

While gigging a few weeks ago, the Pistol Pete band was invited to enter a blues competition being held by the Windy City Blues society. We won the first round, which takes us to Buddy Guy’s Legends on November 13th. If we place first or second there, we travel to Memphis, TN to compete for the Albert King award! If you can make it on November 13th, we’d love to see you!

Check out more info at the Windy City Blues Society.
